Be an active shed participant
There are many activities in which you can participate such as, woodwork, lapidary (rock polishing and jewellery) industrial sewing and repairs, crafts, fundraising, working on community and personal projects, all aspects of gardening including permaculture, grafting, propagating, pruning, growing native plants etc.
Just relax and socialise
You don’t need to feel guilty if you are unable or unwilling to participate in physical activities. Just come along, chat and enjoy a cuppa, join or start a games group such as Scrabble, Sequence, Rummikub or play your favourite card game. Meet like minded folk and make new friends. There’s something for everyone at the KCMS Inc.!
Teach Others
We are always looking for folk with skills, knowledge and experience in woodwork, metal work, arts and crafts, computers, coding, music, creative writing, photography, horticulture, in fact almost anything that will capture the interest and imagination of others.
We particularly need folk to take on the vitally important role of Shed Supervisor to help keep our workshop running safely.
